Requires an API key via the GovCloud portal. Very robust, OGC standard APIs. DMI is migrating from the dmigw.govcloud.dk endpoint to opendataapi.dmi.dk — the old endpoint retirement date (2026-06-30) has now passed per today's date, confirm which host a new integration should target. Beyond forecast/observation data, DMI also runs a distinct Climate Data API (opendataapi.dmi.dk/v2/climateData) serving future climate-projection data — 1×1km grid and municipality level from the National Center for Climate Research — on the same platform and likely the same key.
